This unit covers the entering & working in confined spaces for the resources and infrastructure industries.
It includes planning & preparation for entry of confined spaces, the entry and working in confined spaces, including existing confined spaces and cleaning up.
This unit of Competency will equip the trainee with the knowledge and skills required to identify the critical aspects of confined space entry and to determine the necessary control measures for the control of the risks associated with confined space entry.
The unit includes 3 assessment tasks:
- Assessment Task 1 – (Pre-course Task)
- Assessment Task 2 – (In class Assessment Task)
- Assessment Task 3- (Post course Assessment Task)
