1/2 Day Manual Handling
Regulations:
This course provides participants with a clear understanding of the intent and application of the Manual Handling Regulations 2007 and provides practical guidance in dealing with manual handling issues in the work place.
Objectives:
- To secure the health & safety and welfare of employees & other persons at work
- To eliminate, at the source; risks to health & safety or welfare of employees and other persons at work
- To ensure the health & safety of the public is not placed at risk by the conduct of undertakings by an employer and or self employed person
- To provide for the involvement of employee, employers and organizations representing those person in the formulation and implementation of health safety & welfare standards.
This course also makes use of Practical demonstrations and Class room exercises.
