This course addresses the increasing problem of stress in the workplace. The Victorian OH&S Act makes it clear that the employers is charged with the responsibility for Employee Well Being in the Work Place including the factors in both or private lives and our work place which can lead to "Inadvertance" and, as a result, a range of work place injury and illness.

Unlike many seminars this course not only identifies the signposts of stress, but also addresses the dynamics of the problem, by providing a work place tool which can be used to accurately identify stress sources and levels within the force.

Being able to recognise the signs od stress before injury and illness occurs, by means of a predicitve tool, allows the employer to meet the "intent" of the Act, in that employers are required to take a Proactive role in the management of Work Place Health & Safety Including Phychological Health.

The session is divided into 4 segments each segment addressing

the problem of work place stress from a differant perspective.

• Identifying the issues
• Recognising the Dangers
• Doing the Assessment
• Effective Solutions
