( Energy Safe Victoria Accredited Course)

The Victorian OH&S Act and Energy Safe Victoria require that EVERY Contractor who works in and around Overhead and or Underground assets, provide on every work site a "Licensed Spotter" to oversee in conjunction with site management the safe undertaking of works within and around the No Go Zones.

Developed within the guidelines and requirements of Energy Safe Victoria this state accreditied course will provide the attendee with a working knowledge of the No Go Zones and the required skills to manage works within the No Go Zones.

This course is designed to equip the plant operator and or Rigger / Dogman with the necessary skills to act as a licensed spotter for all types of plant and equipement when working near overhead and underground assets.

each successful applicant is issued with a spotters license by Energy Safe Victoria 

This course is strongly recommended for any Employee, Manager, Work Supervisor, OH&S Representative or Civil / Building Contractor who works near overhead or Underground assets, such as Electricity, Gas, Sewer and Water. E.g. Signwriters, Builders, Landscape Gardners and Tree Loppers, Electricitans, Concreters, Civil Contractors and Roofing Contractors

On completion of the course each successful attendee will receive a Spotters License issued by Energy Safe Victoria, this license has a three year life span.

Required Prequisites:

 Level 2 - St Johns First Aid Certificate (Current)

Current Certificate for: EAR / CPR

Riggers / Dogman License

or

Certificate for the Plant item for which you will be spotting
