This course will provide Senior Managers, OH&S Officers, Work Place Supervisors, Line Managers, Shift Coordinators, Health & Safety Representatives and Employees with the knowledge and appropriate skills to understand, implement and monitor the application of effective OH&S standards within their respective work places.
The course will equip the successful attendee with the ability to manage on a day to day basis the complex issues which surround OH&S in the work place, and in a practical way to provide the guidance necessary for the development and maintenance of a “Work Place Safety Culture”
COURSE DELIVERY
This course is designed to be undertaken in a “Self Paced” non class room environment. Designed for those who cannot take time off work to study and attend lectures. The course comprises approximately 400 hours of individual study time, with written assessments at the completion of each of the 10 units. Each unit is comprised of a question and answer work book, and an open book supervised assessment at the completion of the unit. This course provides a learning pathway for those who are seeking to progress through into a senior OH&S management position within an organisation or business. GSTS is a Registered Training Organisation, and we provide a range of practical, Nationally Recognised and WorkSafe accredited Safety Management training courses across most industry sectors. All participants who complete the course successfully will be issued with a Formal Certification to BSB41604 by Gippsland Safety Training Services.
