Building Construction Safety Plans

With the introduction of the new OH&S Regulations in July 2007 a new Statutory requirement for all Building contractors and other parties engaged as the Owner / Developer / Principal Contractor of any building project with a gross value of greater than $250,000. This new requirement states that the Principal MUST develop, publish and maintain a Site Specific Safety Plan for the project, which will include as a minium a Project Specific Risk Assessment.

This new regulation applies equally to the domestic building industry as it does to the commercial builder.
